Coffs Coast National Parks – Bindarri National Park
Our first stop on our journey through Coffs Coast National Parks is Bindarri National Park, 20 km west of Coffs Harbour. Bindarri consists of dense rainforests and a treasure trove of picturesque waterfalls and tranquil nature walks. Here, you can unwind and connect with the natural world.
Bongil Bongil National Park
Next, we journey south to Bongil Bongil National Park, south of Sawtell. It’s a haven for bird enthusiasts, boasting a rich array of birdlife and substantial wetlands. Also, do not miss the unforgettable experience of kayaking down Bonville Creek.
Dorrigo National Park
A short trip West along Waterfall Way brings us to Dorrigo National Park. Its subtropical rainforest environment makes for delightful treks amongst ancient trees. Plus, remember to take the Skywalk for a fantastic panoramic view back towards the coast.
Moonee Beach Nature Reserve – Coffs Coast National Parks
Between Moonee Beach and Emerald Beach lies the Moonee Beach Nature Reserve. Here, you can enjoy leisurely walks by the shoreline, survey impressive ocean views from the headland, and even catch sight of dolphins playing in the surf.
Solitary Islands Marine Park
Stretching from Coffs Harbour to Wooli is the incredible Solitary Islands Marine Park. It offers a vibrant underwater ecosystem perfect for snorkelling and scuba diving adventures. Plus, the coastal walk is a must-do.
